Hello all. I'm a college senior living in SLC, Utah. I'm not majoring in film but over the last two years I've taken a few film classes here and there and I can no longer lie to myself - I really have an obsession with film and working on my first short film recently was one of the transformative experiences of my life. I greatly enjoyed the entire process from writing, to filming, to editing - in short, I'm addicted. I was very surprised how well received my short was. I've entered it into a local film festival and hope it can reach another audience.
I've recently upgraded to a GH3 (like today!) and I'm looking to learn anything I can from the wealth of knowledge here about all aspects of film making. I love older, slower-paced films with a believable story, well-crafted writing, gorgeous camera work, that are light on VFX. I want to bring more films like that into the world!
