Hey, I'm a student at a college that does not have a decent film program.
Now that i've told you that, i've worked on many film shoots, 10 officially as of this weekend (i'm doing the adrenaline film project with va film festival). And my college may grant me a chance to direct a feature over the summer this year. They will provide 3,500 (but with this grant I may be able to gain more, especially with local businesses and other grants for students), plus housing and food for cast and crew. I was wondering if anyone has a feature written that they would like me to produce/direct. I don't have any of my other work available online but they will be once I finish editing this last short i wrapped... which may be another month.
I need the script by december 1st. A thriller or drama would be the ideal script genre, but beggers can't be choosers.
Also, if you're looking to just begin writting, here are some constructs to look at:
Main actor is a female child between 8-13.
Genre: horror
Think pan's labryinth.
Don't worry about the cost of production because i have many many resources available to me plus backdrops ranging from london to "a city".
We will probably shoot this on either RED, 2 JVC HD cams, or HVX200.
