Student Film Festivals?

Can anyone recommendation any student film festivals to me? I've been searching around, but its just so hard to tell what is actually a decent film festival, especially with student film festivals and what genre may be emphasized in different festivals, etc. If it helps I'm looking to enter a 10 minute short.

Also, maybe student film festivals aren't the way to go? Anyone have experience with them in general?

Hi Sammy D

I'm the director of the Mariachi Film Festival which is held in Byron Bay, Australia.
This is a student film festival in it's second year and we have some high profile judging talent including the filmmakers of Bondi Tsunami as well as a special guest judge from Apple Australia. The films cannot exceed 10mins in length and their is no entry for films made outside Australia.

Withoutabox is great, its just hard to tell the quality of the festival. Anyone have any personal experience with any student film festivals?

Your website says differently. If there international entry is allowed, I'll definately look into it.
