Stuck Anamorphic Adapter

Hey all,

I've got the Panasonic 16x9 adapter. Been using it for a while now, but after shooting today, was unable to get it off the camera. I've had some trouble before, and I know that it is fickle (the screw must be reasonably tight to remove the lens, etc), but today it really would not give. It slides loosely around for about one rotation, but then becomes stuck. Normally at this point it would slip loose after a litle pressure, but it really feels like if I push it harder I will crack something.

Any suggestions?

Are you saying that once you tighten the setscrew and try to unscrew the whole thing, it won't come off?

I have found by pushing gently in towards the camera as I turn the adapter helps to loosen it.

Tighten the setscrew so the adapter does not just spin around then apply presure (by pushing gently in towards the camera ) and unscrew. If it just turns around the set screw is not tight enough.

Also got a stuck Anamorphic Lens

I put a Panasonic Anamorphic lens also on my camera and its stuck. It feels like I attached the lens on past the threads to where I can't get it back off. I dont know how to get it off, whether to force it, or try somehow taking it apart. Any help or solutions would be appreciated. I've spun it around plenty and there's no luck finding the thread to slowly come off. AAAArgh, please help!

Guys... try this

Loosen the screw a few turns.
Then screw the lens ON clockwise like you are putting it on.
Then tighten the screw.
Then try to unscrew the lens itself.

Hope it works.
