Finished editing a 2 min trailer using HVX200 footage shot in 720-24PN.
Edited on a PC with Vegas 8.0 and Raylight and a 24p timeline. All went well.
Rendered it as raylight .avi and quicktime .mov and both looked good when I played them back on PC. NO artifacts, good quality (but huge files, not useable for internet)
NOW RUNNING INTO PROBLEMS WITH MY NEXT TASK: rendering for internet.
Too many options to chose from! So I need to be walked STEP by STEP on how to now render my clip for internet application. I tried different ways/forrmats and had very different results, lots of artifacts, more or less nothing I have tried so far worked well.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS DO ONCE THE 24p CLIP IS DONE TO RENDER FOR THE INTERNET.
1. To upload say on YOUTUBE or similar type websites.
2. Or to imbed a quicktime file on your own site.
If anyone is willing to go over the steps click by click and which format, template, options to select in the Vegas 'RENDER AS" menu for each of above (1 or 2) I know many of use newbies would be eternally grateful. I already have wasted 2 days on this, with so far ZERO progress. I am eager to share my clip with others, so please help me / us and 'unstuck' me!
Many thanks....
