"Strong" UV filter/OK to Leave On?

I'll be taping extensively at high altitude--no lower than 5000' and as high as 12,000. I think I could benefit from a "strong" UV which is intended to filter the extra UV at higher altitudes.

Can I just leave this strong UV filter on the camera lens for protection, just like a regular UV, even at sea level?
