I'm cutting my first feature film and have come across a problem that's driving me up the wall. Premiere Pro 1.5...large project...I've been creating 10-15 minute files of scenes...make a copy of those along with all the raw footage and transfer to an exterior hd for back-up and to improve the performance of my pc.
Now...for some odd reason...I noticed last night that one particular clip...say 5-6 sec. worth...would strobe(choppy looking) during playback after the whole sequence was created into one file. Everything before and after is fine. The same clip even plays back in the original timeline fine...just not after the timeline as a whole has been created into a movie file. This would make more sense if the whole thing was screwed...but this is just one clip.
I experienced the same thing a couple of times before and re-captured the footage and it worked...but this one didn't. No rhyme or reason as far as I know. I tried adding it a couple different times last night...and each time the same results. It's becoming an extremely time consuming hurdle. Anyone experience this before and know how I can correct it...without having to reshoot the clip?
Thanks.
