strobe light

Hey,
Shooting a scene this weekend that requires a 'strobe light'. Is there any special setting with the shutter speed etc...that I should pay special attention to, or just shoot as normal? Thanks.

Having never done it myself, I'd say just set it up and start changing shutter speeds until you get a look you like.

in my experience, the lower shutter speeds usually never match (or are in some equivalence) to the speed of the strobe light, aka, the strobe will flash some odd number of times. The ones i was working with had a dial for speed so fine tuning was a breeze, but they put out sooo much light you can use whatever shutter speed you like.

Like horse said, just play with it til it looks cool.
