Stripping Audio from QT Files

I'm new to both Mac and FCP. Here is problem: I have several (20+) videos saved as QT DV format. I am looking for an easy way to convert the audio to MP3 format. I'm running FCP and don't see an MP3 export in FCP or Compressor. Right now i'm opening the QT in SoundtrackPro, saving as WAVE, importing into iTunes and right clicking the files and choosing Convert to MP3.

So... looking for either a plug-in or workflow to convert audio into MP3 from finished QT files.
