Greetings all!
I am trying to find the absolute simplest setup to capture the rtmp stream from an AJA Helo. Especially via a Mac. I would like to basically set up a streaming server that does nothing but dump the stream to a file, whenever the Helo starts streaming. What's the simplest way to do this?
My goal is really to record two codecs simultaneously; one low-quality for immediate pedagogical use, one high-quality for later post. The Helo will output two codecs, but only one can be recorded, while the other is streamed. I can hope for a firmware update to allow different codecs for recording (it can records to multiple destination), but for now it seems my only hope is to capture the stream codec to another computer.
