you guys even put the shoulderstrap on your camera? just wondering....

I used to use my Sony Handycam shoulderstrap, because it's so much longer, making it more flexible and stuff. But I sold that one, and now I use the much shoter panny one, works great whenever I need 2 hands for something else than holding my camera, as I usually don't bring assistants to do my work on the "set".

had a feeling this would be the response...i don't really see myself using it either, even tho i'm always in the snow and constantly shooting "run and gun". i saw some kid on the mountain using one and i thought to myself "am i really so stupid to drop a $3500 camera?" but maybe the question should be am i so stupid to ALLOW myself the possibility of dropping it....
