Hello--
so, i have a client who wants some watermarks put on some avi's they brought in, then want them converted to mpg1. No problem, right?
Well, most of the AVIs import into my project (standard 48khz dv project) as 1 frame long. When I slow it down to 1% speed, i get a 3:10 minute clip, which plays just fine, like a slow motion clip. Somehow they've given me about 3 minutes worth of frames packed into 1 frame, presumably from some high speed camera they have. However, when I go to render out the timeline, i get 1:55 of 1 frame, then it switches to another for the last 1:55 of the movie.
I'm really at a loss here. How could so much data be packed into 1 frame of AVI? Why won't the rendered video play like the unrendered video in my timeline?
I cannot post one of the videos as the water mark i'm putting on it says "confidential, not for public viewing" and when I called the client i found out they sent it my way because they can't figure it out themselves, and won't give me the original client's contact information.
has anyone seen anything like this?
