During a shoot yesterday, I started to notice that my favorite mic in my kit, my AT 4053 a hyper was making a strange noise with ANY type of subtle bump, shake or fast movement. It was similar to the sound that amps make when cell phones go off near by but to a lesser extent.
I then found out that the reason i was getting this sound was due to the ALC being ON on the camera, so i turned it off and the strange sound disappeared, but instead of the sound happening whenever there was a subtle bump, shake or fast movement, it's almost as if there was no sound at all.
Here is a sample clip of what I'm talking about, and keep in mind it's always in a Shock mount connected to a boom pole.

Is my microphone broken? Can this type of thing be serviced??
