Strange question, but gotta ask.

I Heard in Poland they use large piece of velcro on the inner side of the lens cap and of course the opposite part of the velcro on the lens.

Uh, I don't know about that velcro part... but I have a 72mm step down adaptor for my mattebox (a great buy. It's a Lee still photo bellows. Costs nothing compared to a hard matte box) and it is slightly roomier than the actual lens thread. I just keep the step down on all the time, and I slap the lens cap in there.

I guess I've just gotten used to it? I can put the lens cap on with one hand and the cam pointing in any direction.

Any tips on getting the lens cap to pop into place more easily? (DVX100A)
Seems impossible.
Thanks B
I Turn the camera's lens facing up and I pinch the lock release on both sides of the lens cap then rotate the cap while holding the pinched release and then releasing it. It seems to work for me. After that face the lens toward the ground to make sure the cape is secure. Good luck!

If I face north, stand on one foot, stick out my tongue and wriggle it while pushing the lens cap straight in, it clicks into place just fine, every time.

Don't be facing the actresses while doing this, though.

Freaks them out, for some reason.
