strange problem

If you have created your own custom workspace, I would try using one of their's to see if it corrects the problem. SHFT+F9 is the "Editing" workspace. If that doesn't work, you might want to check your project settings but it sounds more like a "window selection" issue. When you minimize then maximize the window, you are obviously doing something that changes the status of the layout so it will play. I'm just thinking that maybe your workspace may have a flaw although I don't know what. I just remember having problems like this every now and then with 1.5. The last resort I guess would be to reinstall it. Hope you figure it out.
