Strange problem...

I shot a Christmas pageant in 30p(60i) mode with my XHA1 and when I captured the footage, it looked "fast". My pans look abnormally quick and when I looked more closely at the kids actions, it looks like the footage is almost sped up but it's still synced with sound? I haven't shot with this frame rate in a long while, but I don't recall it looking like this... Is it possible that I selected the wrong project settings? I just don't know. It looks weird.
 
Edit: Nevermind, the captured footage before going into Premiere looks like this. I guess I am just no used to this frame rate? It looks more smooth but much quicker. My pans look like crap. When looking through the viewfinder, it looked fine though...
 
Pretty much. I didn't think 24f was appropriate for this and so I chose 30 instead. Is that what 30 is supposed to look like?
