Strange output outcome!

I have some audio that had some glitches when I was filming. The audio was picking up some sort of interference and everytime the person moved you would hear a small burst of static noise. I don't have the SOUND SOAP software and I am sure I could have corrected the problem somewhat in Soundtrack Pro but I decided to leave it as is. Well I just completed the project and made a DVD with iDVD and unless my ears are fooling me, the audio sounds fine all the way through the piece!

How could this be?

Perhaps you are getting old and so the glitches still exist but you just can't hear them?

:)

But more seriously, you're sure the audio glitches truly existed in the first place? It wasn't a glitch with your equipment rather than with the master tape?

cheers.

I'll throw this out there too...

What were you monitoring it at? I've sometimes heard line static that is caused by hot somethings being transmitted over poorly grounded lines - video too.

If you have audio following video in FCP change it to send audio to Built-In or visa versa.

Just a thought.

Well I HAVE been having some issues with my Lectrosonics wireless lately where I would hear static hits in the audio if the person moved or is walking while having the hip pack clipped on them. Someone suggested that it could have been some jewelry the lady was wearing and then again we were filming just outside of the airport and possibly that could have been it too but I have noticed it on other shoots too. You can clearly hear the static hits on the master raw tape. I heard them while editing, but after I made the DVD, I did not hear them at all. Kinda weird but cool too! LOL!
