Hey everyone, I've been having a an issue with Dvd Studio Pro lately and am hoping someone has some insight.
I do freelance work for a wedding company that uses a standard template for all of its videos. All it is a simple one button menu that plays the wedding video(the whole video is on one track) when activated. This has worked fine for months and have had no issues using this configuration.
However, I recently updated the template to include the opening logo animation on its own track so the series of events looks like this:
Menu button->Opening Animation track-> Main video track
Normally I would just throw the opening animation in the beginning of the sequence in FCP but I often forget, so I figure if it's saved in the dvd template I won't have to worry about it.
The problem is that when I use this new template, the resulting disc fails to play in some dvd players. It has worked in the computer and a new Blu-Ray player but not in a newer AND older normal dvd player.
Does anyone know why adding another track to play before the main video would cause this problem? Like I said, the old template works fine and works in all players I've tried.
FYI this is a standard def. DVD
