I'm making a DVD directly off the timeline in FCP using the "Share" function of an hour forty minute feature movie. I've always had good results with this method but this time, near the end of the DVD, I'm getting severe artifacting Here's a screen capture- ignore the stacatto look caused by the screen capture software, the footage actually plays back smoothly - look for the artifacting on trees and faces , especially around :45. This always happens near the end of the DVD. Is the bit rate suddenly being reduced to fit the footage on the DVD? What gives? Source footage plays flawlessly. You must watch full screeen to see it, look at the trees upper lh corner as bride makes way to lady
