Strange backyard discovery

So, a skunk has been digging holes in my backyard all summer. I know because I caught him doing it once or twice. Anyway, today I go out there, and in the dirtpile beside the hole found this--

Now, does this look like part of a human leg bone to you, or is my imagination just running wild?

Depending where you live this could be numerous things from dog, cow, horse, elk, moose, bear etc. Human, unlikely.

It's definitely been cut with a blade on one side, so maybe it was just a bone for a dog to chew on...Or somebody hacked up a body and buried it.

Has Mark Harris been in your neighborhood recently?

Funny because Harris visited the valley recently and immediately after he left for Brooklyn a ton of dead bodies were discovered in one of the lakes up here. The amount was odd for such a small community with little to no murders every year. I'll give him one thing, though, he knew where to dump them. That lake was the in spot for bodies until last year when the off season revealed more of the lake floor than in past years.

*For the record, the above post was a joke. I would not and will not imply that Mark Harris has or will kill(ed) any person, thing or electrical device.

I live in a residential area just north of Glendale, CA in the foothills. Lots of coytoes and some mountain lions up here.

Not a big hunting area, then. Could have been from one of those animals, however, or perhaps something one of them caught. That being said, it could also be human. I did lose my left leg visiting some family up there once after getting attacked by a bob cat...
