So, I'll try to explain this as best I can, since it's a very unusual issue, one that I've never run into on any editing program. I also hope there isn't another topic on this already, but given that I find it hard to explain, I wasn't even sure what to search for.
Basically, I've been editing a montage. I've been working on it on and off for several weeks now, and today when I turned it on, I experienced this audio issue for the first time.
Basically, if I play the video from the very start, there are zero issues, and the accompanying music plays perfectly normal. However, if I click through the timeline to adjust a cut or something and then play back from that point within the timeline, suddenly the music plays, but it seems to be sampling the music from a different point of time in the song. So I might be playing the video at 5 minutes in, and the video images are displaying normally, but the music seems to be playing from, say, 30 seconds in. Once again, if I go back and play it from the beginning, it plays normally. I've tried putting the track back into the timeline, and reimporting it into the program with no success. I've never run into this before today, and as I said, I've been on this project for several weeks now.
Has anyone else experienced this, or know a way to fix it? It just makes it a huge pain in the ass for fine tuning cuts, especially since I'm cutting to the beats in the music, which makes it nigh on impossible.
