Looks like a sony pc series attached to an 8mm movie camera to me? What do you all make of it? I don't know enough about how 8mm cameras work, but could that possibly work better than a 35mm slr camera?

It looks like it might be the directors viewfinder made by PS Technic.
Probably being used just for tests, rehearsals, shot composition, etc.

Weird, that's the first I've seen of this. Is there any reason that couldn't be used for a whole movie? That could be it what he's using, but whatever he's using looks slightly different.

Says you can see the ground glass markings on the camcorder. So that kinda makes it useless for real shooting. But I would still be interested in knowing the price to see how it compares to others. Those sony pc model cams are great too.

That Second Picture looks like a shot from the Gus Vant Sant Movie Elephant Great movie, great Cinematography....Even the wondows look like the one from that movie...anyone else think so??

What a cool product; but from Arri and PS Technic?

(If you have to ask.......)

Anyway; what a bunch of assmonkeys; not a price to be found anywhere. Just list the MSRP dudes. Whats wrong with these people?

This would most certainly be triple the price of the adapters rolling off the line now anyway... At least!
