Strange 1.2K HMI connector help

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a 1.2K HMI ballast on ebay. This one has a different connector to other ballasts I have used in the past and can´t find out what kind of light it´s for. Does anybody know if there are adapters to make it work with a standard LTM Head?

Are you sure it's even the right kind of ballast for the lamp? They're far from universal.

That's an LTM Ballast

You made need to make an adapter to make it work with your lamp.

You would need the appropriate veam connectors for each end to start, and then need to know the pinouts for the ballast and the head. Looks like your ballast has a 12 pin connector and I'm willing to bet your lamp head has a 7 pin connector

Thanks for the help guys! Found out it is compatible with a Pro Photo HMI I have so probably will keep it for that. I will also give GLR a call, perhaps convert it to the more standard 7 pin connector if it´s not too expensive.

IF they know the pin-outs then having them make the adapter for you would be easier than shipping it to change the panel mount female veem
