My friend lit the hair on my leg on fire once... burt hair smells really bad. Really.
I don't smoke or drink either. In fact I try not to drink soda/pop (whichever part of the US you are from) nor sugar. Doesn't do good things for a person.
I dont do anything, although last weekend, I did buy a bottle of Banfi Rosa Regale, had one glass. But the one glass made my face flush, knees wobbly, and I got sleepy. Its prob why I dont drink. Body doesnt process alcohol right, I dont think. Lucky me.

But don't you live in Northern Wisconsin? That's a light evening for those parts. ;D
I smoke. Like a chimney. Pack a day. It's a habit I picked up in my 'Skater Youth' and haven't kicked it yet. Although, I am gearing up to quit; my wife has given me pre-emptive warning that my smoking days are numbered. I would like to quit by summer.
It's weird. I have smoked forever; but play basketball fairly religiously, work out, love sports, eat pretty damn good for the most part (better than most) but thsi damn smoking thing. :-/ :-X :-[
I drink. Mainly beer; Corona, Pacifico w/ Lime. Do I drink every week? No. Tends to be more in the nicer 'Summer' weather or around hoildays. Pacifico w/ Lime, Chip and Slasa and some good ole Fish Tacos at the beach side cafe. Nothing cooler than relxaing with some buddies and having a few beers.
Now let me ask you John2 (or anyone). Why do you HATE it?

I drink, but I hate smoking. It is something that I never understood the appeal of. It costs money, smells bad, and kills you. (Hey wait...sounds like drinking )
The worst part is that smokers have no idea how bad they smell. I can tell when somebody lights up half a block away. You ask them to put it out (like around my kids) and you get dirty looks. When I see somebody smoking in a car with kids, i want to run them off the road, drag their ass out of the car and slap the **** out of them. It's horribly selfish
I used to deliver mail in a trailer park, and there was an old woman there. She would wait for her SSI and Medicaid everymonth. She sat in a motorized wheelchair, on oxygen, smoking like a chimney. Nobody can convince me that there are any merits to that habit and that it does not detrimentally affect the entire planet.
Sorry about the rant
Quit John. If not for you, then for your wife and kids (Do you have kids?)
I have a son and YES, I am quitting and NO I do not smoke in the car nor in the house nor around my son. He tries to come hang with me when I smoke outside and he knows to 'Stay over there while I'm smoking...'
Smoking. Surprising that I never picked up the habit, because almost all of my friends smoke. I didn't even drink until I was in college. Making up for lost time, perhaps?
No drinking or smoking of any kind for me. Its amazing how many people my age (18 and under) do. At least at my high school. Crystal meth is even becoming a problem, its pretty bad. But I stay on the straight and narrow and put all that energy into film making!
My straight and narrow has had a few twists and turns through the years, but the Lord just didnt make me like anyone else in my family. Full of drinkers and smokers. I must have been a "switched at birth" thing, or the "drinking and smoking gene" was temporarily out of stock when I was conceived. I still have a full unopened bottle of champagne in my fridge from when we rolled around from 1999 to 2000. ;D
