Stop that thing right now!

The film may have the best WESTERN gunfight ever in cinema and lines like:

"Men are gonna get killed here today, Sue, and I'm gonna kill 'em. "

and the epic

Charley: You the one killed our friend?

Butler: That's right. I shot the boy, too. And I enjoyed it.
[Charley pulls out his gun and shoots Butler]

UNderated like wear

I CANNOT remember the name of the stupid thing, but there was a movie I walked out on in the theatre... right in the middle of it. Guess it was so bad I don't remember anything about it.

What is WORSE is a movie that is ok, or even kinda-good that has a TERRIBLE ending... where it just goes off in left field and sucks for the last 30 or 15 minutes. I get disgusted when that happens! I had that feeling over "Secret Window" (having not read the book first)

oh yeah and the mask of zorro that was just in the theatres I couldn't believe how much that sucked ( martin campbell whatcha doin) as soon as the big ending sequence happened I was out there worst $2.25 I ever spent.

I also liked Open Range - Hudson great cinematography, very familiar to me it was shot a couple hundred miles from where I live,

LOL ... Alberta Canada..... more theatres than they know what to do with, Cinemark tried expanding here in 1996, then the big Canadian chain Cineplex Odeon opened a mega plex 2 blocks away - securing all the first right's to the new movies and the cinemark switched over to a dollar theatre (originally only $1 crazy huh - now with inflation it's a wopping $2.25 ) but it's awsome cause it's still a brand new theatre , movies playing there now are ( Hostel, New World, Chicken Little, Harry Potter, the ringer, and a dozen more)

The other great thing here right now is you buy a box of Cherrios for like $3.00 at Walmart and you get a free movie ticket to the New theatre for any movie Sunday-Thursday which is amazing cause the really nice theatres are $14 a ticket here ..... massive savings

Bump Bump on Gods and Generals.

I was very pissed off at Ron Maxwell when he totally messed up the film. Though, I personally loved the soundtrack but other then that the film was way to long and just boring. It's hard to believe considering the massive success of Mawell's 1993 hit, Gettysburg.

Sad Sad.

For me this is DEFINITELY Moulin Rouge. This movie made me want to rip faces off. Using found pop music like that I find to be totally repulsive and just plain wrong.

That's a little high-strung, isn't it? :)

Perhaps it is, David. Perhaps it is.
But bad movies'll do that to a man.

Anyone see Running Scared!?!?!
Speaking of INSANE MOVIES!

Any potential this movie ever had went RIGHT out the window when the editor figured out how to use AFTER EFFECTS! I was DYING! This movie was friggin CRAzy with a capital CRA. Way too much cut cut cut cut, effect effect effect effect.

Now, yes, watching this movie made me high strung. It almost gave me a damn stroke.

Ok... I stopped Open Range... I just couldn't stand it... slooooowwwww
Yeah, I liked Open Range a lot. Can't stand Kostner, but I liked the movie in spite of him.

I didn't like it either. But then I don't like musicals. Stopping for a song and dance pulls me out of a movie faster than anything else I can think of. The ONLY musical I can remember liking (other than the Beatles' movies) is Chicago.

Never walked out of a theater
Never stopped a movie couz it sucked
Almost never changed a channel on tv if watched a movie from the beginning. Somehow I just enjoy all movies, if I see the beginning, I have to see what happens. If I "Disqualify" a movie, it happens in the first five minutes.

I sat through the Fog.

The ****ing Fog.

Clearly, I'm subconsciously a masochist.

I can't think of a movie i've walked out on.

You must be talking that new one, 'cause the 70's one was good.

Oh, I'm sorry, yes, the new Fog.

Very much so the new Fog.

I haven't seen the old Fog, but let me tell you, I'm deterred from even watching it after the new Fog, because it was just so ridiculously bad.

I mean, remember when someone pointed out the fact that in the scene on the boat, the actresses playing a woman changed mid-scene? I didn't even notice that ****, man, I was so upset by how bad the movie was that I didn't even notice a continuity error that seemingly is a taunt on the behalf of the studios to people who like good films. "Hey, you ****ers, check this out, that chick isn't even blonde anymore! And you know what? We don't give a ****! This movie is gonna be number one at the box office it's opening weekend! And wait until you see the ending! You actually paid money for this!"
