Stolen DVX

Hey I just picked up a used DVX and I think it might have been a Stolen camera. The serial # that is usually under the eye piece was removed. Are there internal serial #s that I can find. I am curious to find out when it was manufactured. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I don't know of a location but I'm sure there's another spot that it's located.....

BTW, can you get another DVX? ; )
