hey guys i filmed my video, did my color correction using AE and Premier. Just wondering now whats thebest way to get my 24pa video onto a 24pa DVD. should i export out of AE or Premier? If so what format and are there any special settings to consider or will premiere/ae no interlaced or not, progressive or not, etc.? Then when I bring it into Encore which bypass should i use for the best quality? thanks

You'll want to export an mpeg-2 from either Premiere or AE, depending on whatever program you're finishing in. Here in NTSC land I like to use 7.5MB CBR, 23.976, progressive. If you have a lot of video you might want to use VBR so you can fit as much as possible onto a disc. Mpeg-2 is the correct format for DVD, so Encore won't have to do any additional encoding. Hope this helps.

mpg 2 or mpeg 3 dvd and do i need to worry about keyframing, the last section of options under ae. thanks

1)Mpeg-2.
2)I don't have AE in front of me so I don't know the keyframe settings. The default settings should provide satisfactory results. I'll check later.
