Still images not working in Vegas 9

[ilo]

Hey everyone,

I run Vegas 9 and for some reason still images don't seem to work outside of the media bin. Even when they are in the bin the pictures are "offline"

i tried to drag and drop photos from my desktop into the timeline as well to no avail.

i even tried different formats of photos and i still get the --->

as my icon.

Anybody have any idea of whats going on?

I use stills of all different sizes and formats all the time. When in doubt, pull a small jpeg off the web and see if that will work. Are you sure you are using formats that work with Vegas?

Strange..I have no problem with it. Did you upgrade to 9b?

jpegs dont work. and yes i do have 9b.

i tried all the formats and the only ones that worked were .PSD formatted pics.

so, yes i figured out how i can use stills.

just in no other formats.

which is definitly lame.

if anyone comes up with a solution i'm all ears.

Perhaps install got corrupted? Try uninstall/reinstall when you have time?
