Still Image Default Duration setting

Hello,

In Premiere Pro CS5.5, I changed the Still Image Default Duration to 120 frames. So I drag my image onto my timeline and it is still taking up 150 frames, 5 seconds. I turned my Mac off and turned it back on, same thing. What gives?
