yo all who care.

still kicking and screaming. just dropping in to say hey.

as some may recall, we shot a 35mm short film in May, and we're currently in post production. had the footage telecine'd to high def and standard def. i am offlining in FCP and then we'll master in HD on an avid (that's what the post house uses)

so far it's coming along just swell. i have promised to post a clip as soon as i get permission.

on a side note, i went to a party at a bar on saturday night and ran into the DP from FEAST, the Project Greenlight 3 feature. he ended up hanging out with us at Denny's in North Hollywood til 4 in the morning. good times. it helped that i was with our director and our 1st AD (who was 2nd AD on greenlight 2) good times indeed. i had the cheese sticks.

Hey antomic I care, glad to hear things are coming along. We need to get together again for lunch some time. Now just don't kick or scream to loud someone might think your a director!

yo scott! lunch is indeed necessary soon. sorry i've been out of touch. day jobs and editing dont mix so good.

I was just thinking about you yesterday. I was in the video store and just about every cover was something you'd done. Glad to hear things are going well. Don't be a stranger.

sup beeatch! I care too man! I'm still waiting to see some 35mm footage! So what new posters have you done?

Word!

yo theos and horse and buddy BLUE! i almost miss this place... :)

posters...did a bunch of stuff for fantastic four, but other studios have worked on it too, so if you think it sucks, i didnt work on that one.

working on a ton of stuff for chicken little, narnia, that new russian flick Nightwatch, red eye, skeleton key, herbie, hustle and flow, and brothers grimm.

i'm sure i'm forgetting something...

so busy i had to pass on this months dvxfest. way too much effort needed for that piece than i could afford at the moment. but at least i havent set down the camera. i have been shooting like crazy. i did some behind the scenes interviews of all these chicks in leather for a vampire movie, shot some demo stuff for actors reels, and we're shooting a commericial in july. all the while trying to edit the 35 short for you guys to see...

Hey Antomic! Miss you around here! Always good to see the regulars on. :) Glad to hear you've been so busy in such a good way, too. Kinda cool running into that DP guy. Get any good scoop on the show? :)

How where the cheese sticks?

antomic - busy? so I guess this means you won't be submitting an entry for this months DVXfest. Ok guys, now's our chance! :)

Hey man I never really got a chance talk to you but it sounds like your having a blast with all that work. Heh never thought I'd be using blast and work in the same sentence... unless of course I was saying how much I wanna blast work (in which case I probably would have meant to say blow up work and all that came out was blast) and then there was a train *disappears into the night babbling on*

hang in there antomic. like Pk said it sounds like alot of fun. hard work.. but still fun. anyway cant wait to see some of the film. edit away. :)

Hey hey hey! Im a month late, but Antomic wutup! How's the offlining coming along?

I rarely visit these forums myself lately. ((For some reason, after I left post production... I find myself with less time to browse the net))

Elvis, lets do an MB User Group meeting SOON!
I have produced my first Paintball DVD since and have sold over 100 copies from Hawaii to NY :D It's a 100 more than I thought I'd sell lol.

Hey STITCH! it's almost done. at least the offline edit. we have temp score in place and we're talking to a composer right now. picture is days away from being locked and then it's all about sound. from there i pray we can get the post house to match all the effects and transistions i did in FCP on their avid when they master in HD.

And for everyone else who chimed in...thanks for all the encouragement and kind words.

I feel like i have been missing out on tons of stuff around here these days.

Oh, and by the way, in case i never mentioned it here, STITCH (waverider) helped out tremendously by shooting behind the scenes for us on day 3 of our production in the pouring rain. I have yet to get a chance to review all 3 days of our behind the scenes, but as soon as we make deadline on the film itself, i'll be throwing together a "making of" featurette, and will certainly post it here.

Hey antomic just chiminng in to say welcome back again, Your right Stitch we need to get together soon! Congrats on the paint ball DVD.
(Edit)
I forgot to say welcome back Stitch!!!
