Stickies

This is just a question (or me thinking out loud), not a criticism . . .

Stickies are important, I get that . . . We want people to be aware.
Some are literally "timeless" but some, in my view, have clearly outlived their usefulness.
I can sight examples but I think you know what I mean . . . When a thread started in 2009 and was last replied to in 2010 or 2011, and is no longer relevant shouldn't it be removed (as a stickie)?

I'm suggesting that leaving dead stickies has the opposite effect of what's intended, and that the way most of our minds are wired, we miss important stuff when we are ignoring old dead stickies. I'm just say'n . . .

(I hope I haven't offended any stickies, be they old, dead, or otherwise).
