Stick Bogen 357 Release Adapter onto a Cartoni Focus Plate?

I need to be able to quickly move my EX1 from my Cartoni Focus tripod to my shoulder mount or stabilizer. Since Cartoni does not sell a modular adapter with release plate that is compatible with the Focus head, I was wondering if I can leave the Cartoni plate on the head and just attach a Bogen 357 release adapter to it. That way I can have 3 Bogen release adapters on all my equipment.

I hope I worded that correctly.
Does anyone know if that will work?
