Hard decision but it comes down to money since Canon and Nikon are top quality both.
I grabbed a friend's friend D70 with two lenses at the price of 700 Euros. Good deal I believe. The camera is trustworthy with low shutter usage and in new condition.
I've been thinking too long now to do the turn from film and waited for the new models D80 and 400D to see how good they are. Well with a couple of hundreds I could get a brand new model, more advanced technologically and more MPs. But I said what the hell I get an somehow old machine but I get 2 lenses to and it's still a pretty good camera.
I've seen many photos from this camera and I want to believe that I made a good choice going with 6.1 MPs and 2 lenses VS 10 MPs and a 18-55 stock lens (in Canon 400D's case).
There is a posibilitty I might have it tomorrow in my hands and shooting digital for this week's contest!! :
