Stereo track levels can now only be adjusted individually

I've been trying to figure out what setting I've changed and I cannot do it.

While editing a sequence:

1. When I shorten a clip, I can only shorten the video track, audio track 1 or 2 individually- I used to shorten the clip and the audio would shorten automatically to fit the video.

2. Now when I adjust the level on a stereo track, I can only adjust one track at a time, where before if I pulled the left side down, the right would correspondingly drop with it.

What have I changed?

Make sure Link and Stereo Pair are enabled for the clip in the Modify menu.
