Can anyone recommend a good stereo microphone for
an hpx2000?
Looking for mid-price range.

Thank you!

That rather depends what you consider "mid-price range", as well as what you're planning on recording.

I think Trew has a Shure VP88 on their consignment page, which is a decent M-S stereo mic. The Sennheiser MKH418s is also a solid M-S mic (although the noisey side capsule is a bit of a let-down compared to the `416-based mid capsule).

If you're looking for something in a lower price range, check out the Rode NT-4. Its a fixed 90-degree X-Y pair of back-electret condensors, which will accept either phantom power or an internal battery. Setup's pretty hassle-free (no angle adjustments, no matrix decoders), but it lacks the versatility of some of the other stereo mics. Its a bit dark sounding, and the noise floor can be problematic if you're recording quiet atmos or other subtle things. Its designed for studio use, so I'm uncertain how it would hold up to the stresses of field recording.

Have you considered using two mics in a stereo configuration rather than a single stereo mic?
