Steadycam Pro (Prebuilt DIY) - anyone used it?

Anyone used this? Any thoughts on it?

I've been reading threads about DIY steadicams. Horror stories about them breaking and people dropping their cameras. Results that pal in comparison to the Merlin.

I was wondering about this one, because the Merlin to use with my HVX-200 would really need the arm/vest to properly support the weight... and to shoot for a days worth of filming.
 
Do a search on the $40 steadicam or the poor mans steadycam. It looks like the same type of setup. The consensus is that you really get what you pay for here and not worth it.

Regardless of whether you use a merlin or this one, you won't be able to hold it up very long (without some kind of support) and require some kind of practice.
