There are probably some others who have made something simular but here is what I made today.
12" long 2" wide aluminum piece
(2) bicycle handgrips
3/4" wooden dowl
(2) 2" screws
some kind of mounting screw

I think it's pretty self explanatory, but if needed I can try to provide more details.

I did a thread on the same rig about a week ago! haha
I love this rig with my DSLR,I did do this EXACT design, but I found it was alot more stable with a top bar too!
I even used wooden dowel for the handles before!
I changed my design finally with 3/4" Round Aluminium bar,and then I tapped and drilled the ends out now my design is perfect, and VERY strong,I actually will start selling them in a month or so.Still working on parts and materials with a local machine shop.
But we all know aluminium isn't cheap!
We have priced ours around $45.00 USD,and there will be optional accessories such as a top handle and more, and even color and grip selections!
Colors will be Matte Black,Shiny Black,RedRock Blue
Grips are still being determined,we want the most selections for the filmmaker.

Great rig man!

Thanks,Houston Montgomery
