Steadicam workshop - NYC area? - Who's interrested?

of those attending the workshop, who already owns a stedicam/glidecam-type stabilizing unit?

(by the way, which stabilizing unit do folks own?)

if so, will u be bringing it?

I'll be bringing my Steadicam Pilot along with an HVX, wireless video transmitter and 19" monitor.

Also, I just got this message from Susan at Tiffen:
If overnight accommodations are needed, Tiffen does have a negotiated rate with the Hyatt Regency of $149 per night. When making your reservation please mention The Tiffen Company. There is also Shuttle Service based on availability.

For those of you that are flying in, the most convenient airport is Islip/MacArthur Airport (ISP) which is 15-20 minutes from both the hotel and our facility. There’s also LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in Queens which is approximately 45 minutes from Hauppauge.
 
I'll be bringing my camera (a nice big one - gonna try and add some accessories and get it to around 12-13 pounds for the Flyer), and possibly my vest (so I don't have to mess with adjusting other vests for me, I'm quite a big guy).
