Steadicam or Gyro stabilizer when running thru snow or sitting on a snow scooter.

Winter is coming.

And here where I live that means that a bunch of snow is coming too. I don't know the limitations of steadicams, like how good they are if you are walking/running in snow ranging from half a foot to about 2-3 feet, or how well they are if you are sitting on a scooter. Which one would stabilize the most (I guess the gyro, so the question is probably more, is it even feasible to use Steadicams on snow or a scooter)?

The thing is that I'm thinking about getting a steadicam (maybe not the real deal steadicam but cheaper stuff from Came), and they go for about 1000 USD or I can go for a Gyro, but they are much more expensive and carry less weight, either way, I can only afford one type of stabilizer...

Thanks!
