Steadicam Merlin Vest and Sweat...

I am getting this rig, and was wondering if there's anything Steadicam owners do to protect their vests from sweat. Does anyone "scotchguard" their vest? Use Fabreeze afterwards? Any tips or tricks for keeping the vest from developing a permanant stink would be appreciated...:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
 
i dont sweat much so i cant help there but one thing the Pilot vest picks up a lot of is...lint! since its nearly all velcro, setting it down in messy areas or on a floor in a not so clean place will pick up unruly stuff like nails to a magnet.

looks horrible. maybe some of the other steadicam vest have less velcro?
