I got a great deal on an old Glidecam v16. Starting the learning process now. With my fully loaded AF100 rig it seems to just barely be enough weight. It's great, though a little heavy, especially for a steadicam newbie.
Do I have any options for getting a lighter load arm to fly a stripped down AF100 or DSLR? I was thinking a Steadicam Pilot arm, but they don't seem to sell the arm without the vest. Same thing for the Glidecam Smooth Shooter.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
