Status CB-1 - monitor headphones - any experience?

[leeburnett]

Just came across this website, Status Audio. They have a small range of headphones at very reasonable prices. A few pairs of consumer headphones, and then one pair of monitor headphones.

The consumer versions have some amazing reviews, and the price and style of them is perfect. Unbranded, all the correct features, no fuss, and apparently great sound.

There seem to be no reviews for the monitor headphones yet, either their new, or just not enough people have bought them yet.

Just curious what people think, if you've had experience, or even if not would be good to hear your thoughts? For location monitoring and post-editing?

If you want to be a guinea pig go for it.
Personally way to many "off brands/models out there to go near them for myself.
For barely any more money you can get 7506's and not have to wonder if you got a big stinking pile o' poo.

A less $$ option to the 7506 or the unknown CB-1 is the Sony MDR-V6. Aside from a silver plug and different model text, pretty much identical to the 7506.
