Starting Rec on Multible Cameras

I been using the Hpx170 for a while now, I'm a film student. I was wondering Is there any hardware that I can hook up to multiple camera's that I can press one button and all the cameras will start recording at the same time?
 
Depends on how far away they are, but try a remote. If they're close enough they'll both get the signal and begin recording.
 
If you like to get your hands dirty, be aware that there is a wire remote jack plug in the back of the camera. you mat be able to send the start signal (I think it's a 1 volt pulse but not sure at all) to more than one camera if you create a Y cable.

Also, be aware that the camera is able to run a synced TC between 2 and more cameras through the firewire connection. dig this too.
 
I did know about the time code, but I was doing a multi-cam shoot for a interview web series and treated like a iive to tape recording and would like to eliminate the human response time factor (if that makes sense). (also want to do this encase like i did this time to slate it and one of the camera's audio is turned off, which is how my last shoot went)
