Star wars box set

Re: Star wars box set

Yeah -- the Hayden thing was fine. I thought they were talking about when the mask is removed. THAT would have been ugly.

Hey -- In the woods chase in Jedi... anyone else notice that Luke's glove changes hands?  I swear there's a shot with the glove on the left hand!!

I'll go back and rewind if my kids will let me...

YUP!!!

1.01.12 -- glove's on the LEFT hand!

Re: Star wars box set

well. We actualy shot a close up of Hayden to replace Sebastian Shaw in that shot. We even cut it in. But, a day before the release of the dvds i decided to take it out. You know me...hehehe...

Yes, The glove shot. We have known about this ever since we shot it. We had to flop some of the footage so that we could keep the screen direction. Not sure how it happined. Anyway, when we start to upgrade to the new dvd format i will see if our boys at ilm can fix it.

Re: Star wars box set

thinking of why certain things don't match up like c3po not remembering obiwan, that's probably a slip.
there's no clue of qui gon jinn in the first 3 episodes. except maybe that one part when obiwan talks with luke in 'Return' but I don't think that's valid, is that valid? was he even talking about qui gon?
I don't care if they are old, the fight sequence was terrible with darth and obi.
count dooku is older then them combined and he fought yoda like butter.
the dvd special was very good. i enjoyed the doc. EMPIRE.... but as for everything else, it's getting tired. i'm just waiting for episode 3 so lets get on with it.

Re: Star wars box set

I saw that years ago. When James was scoring titanic up at the ranch, he came by played it for us in the executive screening room. Very Funny Indeed.

Re: Star wars box set

I think I know the answer to teh c3p0 not remembering obi wan question...but I don't know if that would be a spolier for ep 3 or not..so I don't know if I should say it.

Re: Star wars box set

That digital domain short is hilarious. The best part was at the end when it said NO REVISIONS. The compression they used made it hard to read the flying text.

Re: Star wars box set

At the end of Episode III. All of C3POs memories are downloaded into R2D2 just before C3POs memories are erased. R2s role in episode 4,5, and 6 takes on a new meaning after the 3rd film. That little guy has seen it all.

Just kidding.

Re: Star wars box set

Just watched the documentary Empire of Dreams again and noted the cut scenes on the side during the credits. Pretty funny, Carrie Fisher and her stunt double laying out/tanning on Jabbas ship, Alec Guinness’ birthday cake, George hamming the documentary camera like a rock star, the Han Solo camera-rolling-gun-switch. Pretty cool, looked like a lot of fun (between the not so fun stuff).

Re: Star wars box set

I just watched 456 and 1 and 2 all over again, without, then with commentary...

I have to say I really like all of them. I'm a huge starwars fan, and even though Empire is still my favorite...1 and 2 just aren't thaaat bad to me. Of course they aren't the originals, but I still like them.

When Darth Maul is cloaked and looks up, then turns his light saber into a dual bladed light saber, that was badass...

And in 2 when Yoda fights...come on...I still get chills...

Of course, Star Wars was one of my very first thoughts of life, these movies came out when I was a kid. So I might like it more because it's more of my childhood memories.

Just my too sense.

Phil

P.S. Is that really George Lucas posting?? ::) ;D
