Star Trek HeeHee

I'm okay with the look as long as the bridge doesn't look like the lobby of the Ramada Inn like ST:TNG. I think the last film was more like a Euro-trash nightclub. I expected Dieter to ask if I wanted to pet his monkey.

Happy for you, buddy! Did you consider maybe the producers liked beer that's why it was at a brewery? Would explain some of the dialogue and scenes, heh. Really, have a blast!!! So happy for you!

Does Dieter really have to ask?

Having just spent a good deal of time crawling around destroyers and battleships and an aircraft carrier for an upcoming feature project, I have to say that, no, the locations they used in the last 'Trek' look more like a brewery because, well, they shot in an un-dressed brewery. There's also the question as to why the bridge of a ship would look like the 23rd-century technology it's supposed to be, while the rest of the ship is trying to look like a 20th-century beer-making plant.
I mean....it worked for me. But this understanding now makes me want to go back and watch it again. I'm not sure if i'm going to recover from this...lol.

Oh...and good for you.

Hey, even the enterprise needs beer. Maybe that IS where they brew their own beer. :P

I agree with you sadmax, and wish you the best on this upcoming film! I am just wishing for a better script! Not even warp-speed can outrun plot holes, and there were waaaay too many last time around. What are those script-writers doing?!

I don't know anything about the script, yet. Even if I did, I'm under an NDA basically from the moment Paramount and I started talking.

Of course! I didn't want you to tell me anything... I just wanted to put it out there... script, script, script... the last film didn't make any sense if you thought past the visuals. :)
