Stabilizer Recommendation

I was looking at maybe purchasing a stabilizer such as the Glidecam? I own a HPX170. Pros/Cons? Other manufacturers?

They're a bit fiddly but they work OK. I have the CMR Blackbird and I think it's a pretty good one. It requires some practice to get good at using it so be ready on the day.

Hi, the camrea is approx. 4.96 lbs (2.25kg) with battery so it is quite difficult to be held for longer shots.
You may need to find a body mounted stabilizer which would fit your needs.
Glidecam sells their stabilizers as handheld ones but you can also buy vest/arm kits to upgrade them.
You can also chose several Chinese brands like CAME, Wieldy or Wondlan. And there are a few European brands as well, like ABC Products, Floatcam or EEMOV. Btw. Sachtler also produce steadycams.
