Back in the good ol film days we occasionally used what we called an iso head. It mounted between the tripod and the camera. It was basically a large milled piece of metal and springs that sort of slid on two axis, and thus took the vibrations out of the shot. They were great for process trailers. The only ones I have seen are for large cameras and Mitchell mounts. Has anybody come across anything like that for today's smaller cameras?
