Stabilisation and rolling shutter

Yes both of these seem to have disappeared in 10.6

Now i am running 10.7:
The good news - so far fresh ingests of media in 10.7 seems to have cured the issue, both are back. But opening a project that I had worked on in 10.6 and both are still missing.
If i go back bit and open a project that was created in 10.5, both are there as expected, if i copy and paste a clip from the older project I end up with a timeline that has this older clip having both both with the rest of the project still missing stab and rolling shutter. I even tried copying and pasting attributes and that did not work.

It seems each clip has this data attached and its not project related.

Wow. Never lost those two. Did you file a bug report with Apple (in the menu of FCP X) ? It's important they hear about things like this....

Hi yes I did and I dont believe I'm alone in losing these two tools.

Its not that I use these options that often but I do miss them, I could use motion but its a free project for a friend and i just want to spend too much time on it.

Did you reset your preferences (deleting those couple of files?). I had some really odd stuff a couple of weeks ago - I lost the shape masks in the colour brick in some projects, and resetting preferences brought that back. Worth a try.

It was a well known bug in 10.0.6, only having access to those in either the Analysis window or in a Timeline.

If you have this issue with stuff you did in 006, export it as XML, reimport as XML into 007 as a new project, etc.
