You definitely do not want to mask the LCD when using the anamorphic adapter.

So, what I will have to learn now is to focus without monitor.
I will be probably quite difficult not to make mistakes but ... i will practice for a few weeks (I got monitor 14'' at home but have no car to carry it while shooting) so maybe I will master focusing with anamorphic image on my LCD.

Focus with the anamorphic is tricky. Here are a few pointers:
First, never zoom all the way in. Don't zoom past Z90.
Second, open up the iris all the way to grab focus. Stop back down for your actual shot.
Third, try to keep as high an iris as you can stand. Try to avoid shooting at f/2.8 if you can, shoot at 5.6 or more to get just that much more depth of field.
