Squiggley Lines???

Using Final Cut Pro I made my movie a quick time file and sent it to idvd and the dvd when played has squiggley lines when fast movements happen, anyone know why this is happening and how to fix the problem?

can you post a screengrab? it sounds almost like its interlaced but i doubt that it would be something so simple.

Playing back where, on a computer or on a television screen?

Playing back on television. And they are horizontal... any idea what would cause this?

still having this issue, any ideas how to get around it? all I want to do is make my sequence into a dvd using idvd.
